Diffuse was born from bourbon.
It has been our experience that Jesus gives the best ideas, and provides the most meaningful shared moments in a relaxed setting amongst good friends. This is how Diffuse was born and it’s within similar environments where we see the next generation of church planting flourishing.
With over 120 combined years of spiritual entrepreneurship - the Diffuse Network team has empowered over 300 young adults into ministry and planted over 35 ministries in the US and around the world.
Our hope is to inspire you to do the same for the next generation.

Tim Hawkins
Tim Hawkins is the Director of Development at Park Street School in Boston, MA, a school that began with the missional purpose to share Jesus with neighbors within the “shadow of the steeple” of Park Street Church. At his heart, Tim is a spiritual entrepreneur whose personal mission is to help people discover God’s dream for their life through inclusive communities. In addition to being part of the launch team for the Diffuse Network, Tim launched Sojourn Collegiate Ministry in 2005, a college ministry that creates communities for more than three hundred students, 80% of whom are exploring faith for the first time. When Tim isn’t building something new, he’s likely discovering a new band or museum with his wife of 32 years.
Pete Cocco
Pete likes to start things that last. He is a spiritual entrepreneur who has both started and coached numerous ministries, organizations, and networks in over 10 countries. With a focus on disciple-making, Pete has a passion for leadership development, strategic change and scalable multiplication.
Angie Stryker
Angie Stryker starts things. A graduate of Georgia Tech in Business, Angie has launched ministries in the Southeast, Mexico, and Charlotte. She also relaunched a college ministry coffeehouse at Emory University which then multiplied into 3 other locations. She inspires and teaches young people how to be missional in their own context by building retreats as a storyteller from Portugal to Lake Wedowee, and crafting a local community development ministry in Alabama.
